Engineers' Workshop: Keeping Up...Keeping Ahead
This workshop will provide up-to-the-minute information on application revisions, best management practice recommendations, regulations, and permit renewal changes...as well as insights into emerging legal issues, design trends, and state erosion and sediment control directives.
The exact same workshop repeats on Friday, March 5. Choose the date that best fits your schedule.
Workshop will be held at the Fred Rogers Center, Saint Vincent College, Latrobe.
$50, includes breakfast, lunch, and materials.

Buying & Selling Homes: A Rural Perspective -- A Workshop for Realtors, Home Buyers and Sellers
Topics will include: stormwater management for homeowners...private water supplies...home siting near floodplains and streams...onlot septic systems...natural gas, oil, coal, and mineral rights...and other considerations such as wildlife management on private property.
Workshop will be held at Greensburg Country Club, located just off PA Route 130, Greensburg. For detailed directions, go to www.greensburgcc.com.
$50 for real estate professionals, who earn 3.5 CEUs; $25 for members of the general public ($20 for each additional member of the same family). All fees include materials, breakfast and lunch.

Stormwater Management for Homeowners
This same workshop is offered TWICE on this day.
Choose the time that best fits your schedule.
1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. OR 6:30 p.m.- 8:30 p.m.
Learn how to read the unique physical features of your property... uncover possible causes of water problems including damp basements and water-ponding...and how to install creative and attractive solutions, from rain gardens to green roofs.
Learn the how and why of using native plants.
Participants will have the option to purchase a ready-to-install rain barrel.
$35 for the workshop and a rain barrel...or $10 for the workshop only.
Workshop will be held at Westmoreland Conservation District headquarters, Donohoe Center, 218 Donohoe Road, Greensburg, PA.
